The Uganda Open 2025 has officially begun at the Lugogo Tennis Complex, with the Under 14 Junior Category for both boys and girls generating tremendous excitement. Top seeds have made their mark, and thrilling match ups have set the stage for an unforgettable tournament.

Josephine Nasejje(1) leads the Girls Under 14 category, while Damba Abbey (1) from Tennis for All Academy tops the Boys Under 14 category. Both players have showcased exceptional skills and are favorites to win the championship.

Notable Performances

Edison Enjama, who represented Uganda in the ITF/CAT Under 12 Africa Junior Team Championships, put up a good fight but fell short against Damba Abbey.

Wanjiru Hanisha Nakato from Serving Up Hope Tennis Academy and Natabi Patience(2) showed impressive skills but were eliminated in the semi-finals.

Kasada Raymond (5) outclassed his opponents, including a significant win against second-seeded Solomon Buyinza to reach the final.
