SAMUEL OKELLO TO COMPETE AT THE ITF/CAT TANZANIA JUNIOR CIRCUIT
The Uganda Tennis Association is proud to announce that Samuel Okello, one of our top junior players, will be competing in the ITF/CAT Tanzania Junior Circuit for 14 years and under. Samuel will be accompanied by ITF Level 2 Coach Edward Odockcen.

Samuel Okello previously won the Kenya 14 & U Junior Circuit in 2024, was the 2nd runner up in the Boys’ 14 & Under Singles at Eastern Africa Junior Championships in Nairobi, Kenya 2025 and recently has won the UTA Junior Series 18 & Under Boys’ category.
Samuel is currently ranked 7th with 1715 points in the 14 & Under Boys’ category on the African continent and also ranked 1st in the East African region.
Samuel Okello will be the top seed in the tournament. Samuel’s participation aims to earn more ITF/CAT ranking points, enabling him to compete favorably in future tournaments.
Accompanying Samuel is an ITF Level 2 coach, whose expertise and experience will guide and support him throughout the tournament.
The ITF/CAT Tanzania Junior Circuit is not only a competition but also an opportunity for players to connect, learn, and earn CAT ranking points.
