The Uganda Tennis Association (UTA) is delighted to announce that it has received its Certificate of Registration as a National Sports Association from the National Council of Sports.
Issued on 20 July 2026, the certificate formally registers UTA as a National Sports Association under registration number NCS/R/25/No. 00303. It is valid for twelve months from the date of issue.
This is a proud and important milestone in the history of the Uganda Tennis Association. It reflects the sustained hard work, careful planning, execution and ingenuity invested in meeting the legal requirements of Uganda’s new sports law.
The journey has required commitment from many people across the tennis community. We extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed their time, expertise, encouragement and support along the way.
UTA celebrates this achievement with gratitude and renewed purpose. It is a moment to recognise the collective effort behind it, make some positive noise for Ugandan tennis, and continue building a strong future for the sport.
